BRADENTON, Fla. (April 26, 2019) – The Tars were unable to advance in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, falling 4-0 to the Lynn Fighting Knights. Seventh-seeded Rollins ends the year at 10-12 overall. Second-seeded Lynn advance to the semifinals with a record of 20-0 overall.
The Fighting Knights took the first two doubles decisions to clinch the point, and give Lynn a 1-0 lead. The Tars fell in the first and third spots, while the second court match went unfinished.
Lynn continued to roll in singles action, picking up three wins and clinching the match. The Fighting Knights earned wins in the first three positions, while courts four, five and six did not complete their contests.
The Tars season comes to an end with the defeat.
