WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 5, 2017) - Rollins
dominated Eckerd from the outset, Wednesday night, cruising home
with a 9-0 win on the road against the Tritons. The Tars improve
to 8-9 on the year and 3-4 in Sunshine State Conference action.
Eckerd falls to 4-10 on the year, and remain winless, at 0-6, in
SSC play.

Borg defeated Joyce Fields and Emily Fridrik in the number one
doubles spot, 8-5. Shannon
Etten and Carlye
Goldman sailed to an 8-1 victory in the second position. Zoe
Monge and Marie
Debruyn teamed up for the first time in 2017, completing the
doubles sweep with an 8-2 win.
The Tars struggled very little, taking all six singles matches
in straight sets. Vitanza performed well in the first position,
defeating Fridrik for the second time on the day, 6-3, 6-0. Etten
controlled Fields in the second spot, earning a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

Fuller, and Teresa
Kaiser each earned shutout 6-0, 6-0 wins in the third, fourth,
and fifth positions. Monge saw her first singles action of the
year, registering a 6-3, 6-0 decision.
The Tars will return home tomorrow, Thursday, April 6, when they
will take the court against SSC foe Tampa. The match is set to
start at 4 p.m.
