SET-UP:
Rollins is set to start a busy week; the Tars will host
four non-conference opponents to Martin Luther King Jr. Park for
double-header action. The Tars are coming off a sweep of Sunshine
State Conference rivals Florida Southern. The Tars were sparked by
a two homerun game by Chelsea
Reed in game one, got a stellar pitching performance from Erin
Fortney in game two, and, finally, got timely hitting from
senior Hailee
Keisling to take game three. The wins improved the Tars'
record to 12-8, and 4-2 in SSC play.
TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars boosted their team average to .301, third highest
total in the conference, while also sitting third with a .406 team
slugging percentage. Sarah
Harrison still holds the team's highest average, despite losing
a 12 game hitting streak in the matchup with the Mocs, as the
freshman is hitting .414 on the year. Keisling has seen her
average climb in recent contests, and is now hitting .393, eighth
highest in the SSC. Brianne
Lint took over the conference lead with her fourth homerun of
the year, and is currently third in the Sunshine State with a .615
slugging percentage. Reed leads the SSC with 20 RBI.
As a unit, Rollins pitchers have a 3.19 ERA, with batters
hitting .258 against them. Sarah
Piening tallied two wins against Florida Southern to boost her
record to 7-2 on the year. Fortney's impressive outing in game two
lowered her ERA to 1.71 on the year.

Augusta University, taking a 10 inning contest 9-8 in game one, and

sophomore outfielder is batting .409 on the year with five

knocked in 15 runs on the campaign.

Pembroke, but prior to the 6-0 and 3-1 wins, the Bearcats had
