LA JOLLA, Calif. (March 14, 2017) - The Tars
suffered a second defeat on their road trip to the west coast,
falling to No. 13 UC-San Diego by a score of 5-0. The losses moves
the Tars to 6-7 on the year while the Tritons improve to 12-1 in
2017.
UC-San Diego overpowered the Tars in doubles play, sweeping all
three matches. Alexandra

Vitanza pushed Britta Mosser and Shannon Theisen in the first
position, but fell by a score of 9-7.
The Tritons won the first two singles matches, in the second and
fourth positions, at which point the match was called, handing
Rollins their seventh loss of the season.
The Tars will close out their road trip in California tomorrow
when they take the court against No. 24 Point Loma Nazarene. First
serve is set for 2 p.m.
