WINTER PARK, Fla (February 18, 2017) - The Tars
struggled to gain any momentum, facing the sixth ranked Barry
Buccaneers on Saturday morning. The Bucs ran out to an early lead
and did not look back besting Rollins 9-0. The loss drops the No.
38 Tars' record to 1-2 on the year and 0-1 in Sunshine State
Conference action. Barry improves to 7-0 and 1-0 in conference
play.
Rollins could not break through against the Bucs' sturdy doubles

Borg fought to an 8-4 defeat.
Barry controlled the singles matches from the outset as well.
Etten again found herself in a battle, but came up short against
No. 18 Dasha Salnikova 6-3, 6-4. Carlye
Goldman, who entered the match ranked 20th in the
south, paired with Sonja Larson, who was ranked No. 22 nationally,
but Larsen proved to be too much, taking the match is straight
sets.
The tars will look to return to their winning ways tomorrow when
they host Palm Beach Atlantic to the Martin Tennis Complex. First
serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
