DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 19, 2016) -
Rollins men's and women's cross country teams were in action on a
steamy Saturday morning, running at the Embry-Riddle Asics Classic
in Daytona Beach.
The Tars women finished seventh while the men came in ninth.
For the women, Nicole Hubert led the way, finishing in
45th with a time of 25:22 over the 6K distance.
Charlotte Simmons was 47th in 25:43 and Julia Perry
finished 49th with a time of 26:03.
Abygail Wong posted a time of 28:24 and finished 56th
while Katie Rioux was a four seconds behind (28:28) in
57th place.
Hayden Rodrigue led the Tars men with a 66th place
finish, clocking 33:22 on the 8k course. Jack Williams posted a
time of 35:05 and finished 74th. Colin Brant was
76th in 35:14 and Tyler Schneider 80th in
37:10.
Cyrus Bonyadi finished 86th with a time of 43:51 and
Ben Gebauer took 87th in 44:04.
Rollins will take a week off before travling to Titusville for
the FLrunners.com Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30.
