WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 12, 2016) - Rollins

Conference. Tampa improves to 40-7 overall, and 19-3 in the

Tampa got on the board early, sending three base runners across
the plate in the first inning. Rollins responded with a run of
their own in the second when a Dolan single allowed Corbett to
score.
The third inning saw Tampa extend their lead, putting up another
three runs. But Rollins again kept the game close with a run in
the bottom of the frame. Isaiah
Russell registered an RBI single, capitalizing on Miller's lead
off double. The score after three innings was 6-2 in favor of the
Spartans.
In the fifth inning Tampa was able to take a firm grasp of the
contest, putting up five runs. Rollins again clawed back, but
could only responded with a single score. Corbett hit a solo shot
that landed well beyond the left field wall, making the score
11-3.
Tampa scored one run in the sixth, but the relief pitchers
dominated the final innings as Tampa held on for the 12-3
victory.
