Rollins met third-seed and No. 5 ranked Lynn in the SSC
Quarterfinal on Thursday morning, eventually falling to the
Fighting Knights, 5-0. With the loss, the Tars fall to 12-9.
Rollins began in a 3-0 hole after doubles and couldn't recover
against a talented Lynn team. Shannon

Davis fell to Diana Bogolii and Rosalie Willig, 8-3, in the No.
1 spot while Johanna
Olsson and Teresa
Kaiser were defeated by Carolina Cuevas and Alina Jane, 8-5, in
the No. 2 hole.
In the No. 3 match, Carlye
Goldman and Zoe
Monge fell, 8-3, to Martina Gledacheva and Grace Mpassy.
In singles, Davis fell to Bogolii, who is ranked No. 8 in the
ITA National Singles Rankings, 6-2, 6-0 and Savanna
Fuller fell to No. 25 ranked Willig in the No. 3 match, 6-0,
6-2.
The rest of the singles matches were left unfinished after the
Fighting Knights clinched the match.
Rollins will now wait and see if they receive a bid into the
NCAA Regional Tournament. The selection show is set for Tuesday,
May 3rd at 8:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on
NCAA.com.
