MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (April 17, 2016) - Playing
their second match in as many days, Rolins traveled South to No. 2
Barry on Sunday, eventually falling to the Buccaneers, 5-1. With
the loss, the Tars drop to 11-7 on the year while Barry improves to
14-2.
In doubles, Rollins fell behind 2-1 with Emma
Wookey and Fabiana
Vitanza picking up the lone Tars point when they defeated
Barbora Kijasova and Judith Bohnenkamp, 8-6, in the No. 3 match.
Wookey and Vitanza are now 7-4 when paired together this
Spring.
In singles, the Bucs were just too much for Rollins as they came
in with three players ranked in the ITA Division II National
singles rankings.
The Tars will return the court on Wednesday, April
20th, hosting Florida Southern for Senior Day at 4 p.m.
at the Bert Martin Tennis Complex in the center of campus.
