Tyler Fairbanks led-off the inning with a double before a Mike Purcell single and a Grant Ashline walk loaded the bases. Skip Kovar came to the plate and walked in a run. Chris Corbett scored Purcell with a sacrifice fly. A Peter Nicoletto walk reloaded the bases before Russell and Breen both drew walks to score two more runs.

The Tars pulled away in the fifth, scoring another five runs. Purcell walked to lead-off the inning before Dolan stepped up and hit the ball over the fence in left center field. A Russell single scored Kovar, and a Breen single knocked in Russell and Nicoletto.

Concordia pulled one run back in the top of the seventh, but Rollins again responded, putting the game out of reach in the bottom of the inning. Kovar opened the frame with a single and scored on a Corbett triple. Russell grounded out, sending the catcher across the plate.
