gates this spring, falling to No. 9 Valdosta State, 8-1.
Rollins is now 0-3 while the Blazers improve to 3-2.
The Tars found themselves down, 2-1, after doubles, with Robin
Marchione and Ahmed
Albitar defeating Jordi Mas and Fernando Rivas from Valdosta,
8-6, in the No. 3 match to earn the Rollins point. The Rollins duo
is now 2-1 together on the year.
In singles, No. 4 ranked Anton
Bettink fell in straight sets to No. 10 ranked Leo Blay in the
No. 1 match.
Marchione, Albitar and Patrick
Sell each went three sets but all ultimately fell.
