SETUP:

The Tars will look to right the ship after losing a high scoring affair, 4-3, against rival Florida Southern last week. Alexis Martinez registered four points in the match, coming on one goal and two assists. This will be a busy week for Rollins, as they maintain their normal slate of games while also making up a game postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.

Barry: The Bucs, who come in at No. 8 in the NSCAA National Rankings, have seen a slew of postponements recently, and have not played their last three scheduled matches. Barry currently sits at 6-1-0, but have not played since a September 24 loss to Saint Leo; the Lions upending the Bucs 4-2 on the evening. Barry sports two of the top five point getters in the conference this season. Thomas Coombes has tallied eight goals and three assists for 19 points, while Hanno Antoni has recorded seven goals and three assists for 17 points. Nyle Patel leads the Bucs, dishing out four assists. Michael Scheraldi has seen most of the action in cage for Barry, making 20 saves on the season, while surrendering 2.18 goals per game.

Palm Beach Atlantic: SSC Provisional member PBA is having another strong season. The Sailfish come into their contest with the Tars with a record of 8-2-1 and have recently reentered the NSCAA National Polls, at No. 17. Palm Beach Atlantic is riding a six game winning streak, and an eight game unbeaten streak. Charlie Dennis leads the Sailfish offense, scoring six goals and recording four assists for a total of 16 points. He is followed closely by Kebba Nyang with five goals and four assists, 14 points. Lucas Coutinho has set up an impressive eight goals on the year, adding one score of his own for a total of ten points. In net Elliot Barker has seen most of the action, making 21 saves and allowing only six goals, maintaining a .778 save percentage.

Nova Southeastern: The Sharks have struggled on the pitch this year, entering the week at 2-7-0 overall and 0-4-0 in SSC play. Nova Southeastern will take on Florida Tech in a midweek contest before hosting the Tars over the weekend. NSU has gotten goals from five different players on the year, while a pair of Sharks have registered assists on the season. Bestun Mohammed leads the Nova Southeastern attack, scoring one goal, while taking 19 shots. Nico Rosiglioni has seen most of the goalkeeping action, making 26 saves, while allowing a total of 12 goals.

NOTES: Rollins defeated Barry 3-1 on October 14 of last season, Martinez registered a goal, and Popo had two assists as the Tars upset the then tenth ranked Bucs.

The Tars also managed a 3-1 victory over the Sharks during the 2015 campaign; Martinez and Grant scored, while Popo and Andre Nansen each earned an assist.

Rollins was defeated twice last year by Palm Beach Atlantic. The Sailfish bested the Tars in the regular season by a score of 2-1, before ending the Tars season in the third round of NCAA Tournament play.

NEXT: After a busy week of action the Tars will look to return to their normal schedule when they host No. 15 Lynn on Wednesday, October 19, at 7 p.m. Rollins will then turn around to play a nonconference game against the Flagler Saints in St. Augustine on Saturday, October 22, at 7 p.m.
