WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 16, 2016) - After leading all of the first half, the Rollins offense went stagnant in the second, managing 14 points over the final 20 minutes and eventually fell to Palm Beach Atlantic, 62-48. The loss was the first for Rollins in 21 meetings with PBA.

The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for Rollins as they fall to 8-7 while the Sailfish improve to 6-9.

Julia Ingler led Rollins with 16 points in the loss while Jasmine Stone scored 15 on 6-12 shooting. Marie Gilbert hauled in a team high seven rebounds and matched Tanaya Jones with four assists.

Ayanna Holmes led the 'Fish with 21 points, finishing 9-13 from the free throw line. Janelle Cannon added 17 with seven rebounds with Nina Krstic grabbing a game high nine rebounds.

The Tars went to the line just five times on Saturday, hitting four, while PBA was 22-32 from the line.

Rollins came out firing, opening up a 9-0 lead at the 7:43 mark of the first, forcing a quick PBA timeout. Ingler with five and Stone with a quick four accounted all the Tars' points.

The Sailfish finally got on the board at the seven-minute mark and would eventually climb back within three at 11-8 with just over three minutes left in the quarter.

Late in the period, a Stone triple at the buzzer gave the Tars a 19-12 lead heading to the second. Stone finished with 12 in the quarter.

Vernisha Andrews opened the second with a block that led to a fast break layup before Rollins grew their lead to eight, 25-17, at the 7:11 mark.

The Tars would push it the lead to double digits thirty seconds later and would eventually take a five-point lead into the half, 34-29. Stone was held scoreless in the second but still led the Tars with 12 at the half while Ingler pitched in 10. Gilbert grabbed four rebounds in 13 minutes.

An early Stone triple proved to be the only score over the first three minutes of the third quarter before PBA scored eight straight to tie the game at 37-37 5:24 mark.

The Sailfish would take their first lead with 2:13 left in the period and would head to the fourth up 45-42.

PBA would score the first six points of the fourth before Ingler answered with six straight to pull back within three at 51-48 with seven minutes left.

The Tars failed to score over the final 7:07 of the game, eventually falling, 62-48.
