WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 17, 2015) - The No. 38
Rollins women's tennis team lost 6-0 to No. 5 Saint Leo Friday
afternoon from the Martin Complex.
A day after the match was postponed due to a rain delay, Rollins
(7-12, 3-4 SSC) could not overcome a 3-0 deficit in doubles and
lost 6-0 to the fifth-ranked Saint Leo Lions.
The Tars trailed 3-0 after doubles as the Tars number one
doubles team Shannon
Etten/Carli
Davis lost to the No. 8 ranked doubles team in the country
8-3.
Johanna
Olsson and Fabiana
Vitanza lost 8-5 while the Tars number three doubles team, Zoe
Monge/Taylor
Brown fell 8-2.
The Tars host Senior Day on Saturday, April 18 from the Martin
Complex against No. 44 Florida Tech at 1:30 p.m.
