PENSACOLA, Fla. (September 14, 2014) -
No. 3 Rollins led Alabama-Huntsville twice on Sunday afternoon
but twice UAH pulled even and eventually won in overtime, stunning
the third-ranked Tars, by a final score of 3-2.
With the loss, Rollins falls to an even 2-2 while UAH improves
to 3-1.

Walker both scored for the Tars while both Tosan
Popo and Skyler
Russell recorded assists. Leo De Smedt, Anthony Benitez and Ryo
Suzuki scored for the Chargers and Suzuki also added an assist.
The Tars outshot UAH 17-11 for the game, including 10-4 in the
second half. Rollins also took 12 corners compared to the Chargers'
one.
After a scoreless first half, Kuckkahn finally got the Tars on
the board less than a minute into the second period, cleaning up a
rebound after a Popo shot deflected off the post.
UAH would fire back shortly after when De Smedt found space in
the box and blasted a shot off his left foot past Grundler in the
56th minute off the assist from Suzuki.
Rollins then regained the lead in the 72nd minute
when Walker scored his first goal of the season, heading home a
corner from Russell. The assist was Russell's first of the year
after finishing with a conference best, eight assists, last
season.
Six minutes later, the Chargers would pull even again when
Benitez somehow slid a shot past Grundler far post with just 11:28
left in the second half.
The score would hold 2-2 over the final 11-plus minutes, sending
that game to overtime.
Then, with just over a minute left in the first overtime period,
Suzuki collected a loose ball in the box and drove it into the back
of the net for the game winner.
The Tars will now will host Embry-Riddle at Barker Family
Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 14th at 7 p.m. Fans can
