WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 10, 2014) - Rollins
improved to an even 4-4 on the year with a dominating, 8-1 victory
over Wayne State on Monday afternoon.
WSU falls to 1-5 on the year with the loss.
The Tars cruised in doubles to take a 3-0 lead and never looked
back, outscoring the Warriors, 24-7, in the three matches. No. 5
ranked Jason
Alabaster and Will
Kwok improved to 5-3 with a win in the No. 1 spot while Robin
Marchione and Adrian Di
Felice beat Clement Charriere and Michael FitzGerald, 8-3, in
the No. 2 match.
Ari
Davis and Jacobo
Herrero picked up their team best, sixth win as a pair in the
No. 3 slot, defeating Stephane Robineau and Mohamed Fazyl Kechai,
8-3.
Rollins dominated in singles as well, winning five of the six
matches.
The Tars will be back in action on Tuesday, March
11th when they host Auburn University of Montgomery at
3:30 p.m.
