KANSAS CITY, Kan. (October 7, 2014) - After
suffering just their second loss of the year over the weekend,
Rollins (7-2-0) fell seven spots to No. 14 in the most recent
NSCAA/Continental Tire National poll, it was announced on
Tuesday.
As a team, the Tars are ranked first in all of Division II in
assists per game (4.11/game) and points per game (11.89/game) and
are second in the country in total assists (37) and scoring
offense, averaging 3.89 goals per game.
The top-three remain unchanged in this weeks' poll with College
of Saint Rose (9-0-1) holding on to the top-spot followed by
Minnesota State - Mankato (10-0-0) and Grand Valley State (9-1-0).
Columbus State (8-0-1) is up a spot this week to No. 4 with
Colorado School of Mines (8-0-2) rounding out the top-five.
Around the SSC, Barry (5-1-1) jumps 12 spots to No. 9 this week,
after beating Rollins last Saturday, while Saint Leo moves into the
top-25, checking in at No. 23.
The Tars will be back in action on Tuesday at Lynn. Kickoff is
