WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 5, 2013) - In the bottom of the 12th with one out, Yuta Okazaki laid down a bunt to drive in Zach Persky from third to win 3-2 over the Barry Buccaneers Friday night at Alfond Stadium.

Persky led off the frame on an infield bunt single before taking second on a stolen base. Brett Flutie then drew the first out bringing Persky to the plate. On a 2-2 count, Okazaki laid down a bunt in between the Bucs pitcher and third baseman that would allow him to drive in Persky for the win.

Okazaki finished the night 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored while Persky went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and the game-winning run. Brandon Curson was also 3-for-5 with one run.

Junior Eric Morse (3-1) picked up the win in three innings on the mound for the Blue and Gold. He struck out three and did not allow a hit, walk or run.

Rollins led through five innings of play but was taken back in the top of the seventh as Barry plated a pair of runs to even the score at two runs apiece.

In the top of the second, Brandon Curson put the Tars on the board on a Steve Betcherman grounder to first. Okazaki scored the Tars' second run of the game on an Evan Rivera fielder's choice.

After BU tied the score in the top of the seventh, Rollins starter Anthony Figliolia went two more innings of scoreless baseball. Morse relieved Figliolia in the top of the 10th holding off the Bucs for the win.

Morse's counterpart Adrian Benitez was charged with his first loss of the season in 4.1 innings of work. He struck out five and scattered three hits and gave up one run.

Third baseman Tyler Kellman had two hits for the Bucs.

Rollins will look to win their second conference series of the season on Saturday, April 6 as they face Barry in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Fans can catch all the action live on the Tars Sports Network at RollinsSports.com.
