LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 27, 2013)

- The Tars fell four spots to No. 10 in last weeks rankings but, after sweeping a three-game set from Eckerd (7-0 in 5 inn., 8-3, 9-4) and improving to 32-4 overall, climbed three positions to No. 7 in the NFCA Division II rankings this week, it was announced on Wednesday.

For the first time since the preseason the voters are all in agreement on a unanimous choice for No. 1 as West Texas A&M (24-2) received all 16 possible first-place votes.

Overall, the nation's top six squads remained the same from last week as Indianapolis (24-2), Valdosta State (23-6), Armstrong Atlantic State (22-3-1), Southeastern Oklahoma State (27-6) and North Georgia (30-7) continued in the same positions from last week at two through six, respectively.

SSC rival, Tampa, tumbled all the way to No. 13 in the latest polls, down six spots from last week.

Humboldt State (24-9) made the week's greatest poll improvement, skyrocketing from unranked to No. 14 after improving its winning streak to 12 straight games with a pair of victories over Notre Dame de Namur (7-4, 7-3) and a four-contest sweep of San Francisco State (2-0, 2-1, 1-0, 6-1). Also joining this week's rankings are Missouri Western State (20-8) at No. 24 and Lenoir Rhyne (22-7) at No. 25.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Current 2013 records are shown, first-place votes are in parentheses.
