MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (February 10, 2013) -
Playing its second top-five ranked opponent of the weekend,
sixth-ranked Rollins fell to fourth-ranked Barry 8-1 Sunday.
The Tars drop to 1-3 on season and 1-2 in Sunshine State
Conference play. Of Rollins four matches, the first was against a
Division I school and the next three straight versus nationally
ranked Division II teams.
The Buccaneers (2-0, 2-0 SSC) swept doubles to put the Tars in
an early hole. Will

Marchione fell 8-3 to second-ranked Marco Mokrzychi and Fabian
Groetsch in the top-flight. Jason

Herrero lost to Romain Costamagna and Ollie Lemaitre 8-2 in the
No. 2 match while Adrian Di
Felice and Cooper Maxell fell 8-1 to Max Wimmer and Renato
Lombardi at No. 3.
In singles, Marchione won his third straight match and remained
undefeated, beating Lombardi 6-7(4), 6-2, 13-11 in the No. 3
singles match.
Rollins will next be in action on Thursday, Feb. 14 at NAIA
top-ranked Embry-Riddle.
