MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (November 8, 2013) -
The second-seeded Tars (14-3-0) dominated throughout in Friday
evening's Sunshine State Conference Tournament semifinal, defeating
the sixth-seed Florida Southern, 3-0.
With the win, Rollins earns a spot in the SSC Championship for
the third year in a row.
Florida Southern ends their season with a record of 5-11-4.

McKee both scored in the win with freshman Emma
Bloom tallying the third in the second half to seal it.
Second team All-SSC goalkeeper Mary
Spring earned her fourth clean sheet of the season, collecting
a pair of saves in 90 minutes.
The Tars outshot the Mocs by a staggering 27 shots to three,
including 15-1 in the second half, and took six corners compared to
three for FSC.
Johnson got the scoring going in the 18th minute with a shot
that deflected off a Mocs defender and bounced into the back of the
net. Nicole
Fischer was credited with the assist on the goal, her second of
the season.
McKee then extended the Rollins lead to 2-0 in the 30th minute,
taking a pass from Allie
Holly and ripping it off the crossbar and in for her team
leading 11th goal of the season.
Bloom then added her fourth of her freshman season quickly after
the half to all but end it and propel Rollins to Sunday's
Tournament final.
The Tars will play the winner of Friday's second semifinal between
host and top-seeded Barry and the fifth seed Florida Tech. Kickoff
