KANSAS CITY, Kan. (October 1, 2013) - The Tars
continued to roll last week, picking up wins over Saint Leo and
Florida Tech, and held at No. 3 in the latest NSCAA/Continental
Tire NCAA Division II National Polls, it was announced on
Tuesday.
Through Sept. 29, Rollins ranks first in all of Division II in
total assists (23), second in assists per game (3.29/game) and
total points (75), and third in points per game (10.71/game) and
scoring offense (3.71/game)
The top-three remained unchanged this week with Simon Fraser at
No. 1, LIU Post at No. 2 with Rollins at No. 2. Drury takes over
the No. 4 spot this week, up from No. 7, and Lander rounds out the
top-five, up three spots from No. 8.
Also representing the SSC in the poll is Saint Leo, up four
spots to No. 13, while Tampa, previously ranked as high as No. 11,
dropped out of the polls
Rollins next travels to Boca Raton to face Lynn on Tuesday, Oct.
