Rollins had its senior day spoiled on Saturday, falling to Lynn
66-54.
The loss drops Rollins to 21-7 overall and 9-7 in Sunshine State
Conference play. The Tars are the No. 5 seed in next week's SSC
Tournament and will play at No. 4 Eckerd on Wednesday, Mar. 2 at
7:30 p.m.

Blackburn each netted 13 points to lead Rollins. The Tars
struggled from the floor, shooting just 33 percent (21-64) and
going 9-of-33 from the 3-point line.
Lynn (12-14, 6-10 SSC) was paced by 21 points and six rebounds
from Kira Harvey. Chelsea Patterson netted 17 and Quanisha Dixon
added 10 points and nine boards.
The Fighting Knights win over Rollins was just the fourth in
their program history (25-4).
Lynn opened up a five-point lead after the first seven minutes,
but Rollins answered with a 5-0 spurt to tie the score, 17-17,
midway through the period. A Tera
McDaniel jumper later in the frame tied the score once again at
29-29, but Lynn ended the period on a 6-0 run and took a 35-29 lead
into halftime.
The Knights advantage ballooned to 47-36 with 13 minutes to
play. Rollins closed the gap to seven, 51-44 over the next five
minutes, but would not get any closer and dropped its fourth of the
last six games.

Tritons in the regular season and will be seeking the SSC
tournament crown and automatic bid into the NCAA Division II South
Region Tournament.
