WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 17, 2010) -
Rollins ran into juggernaut Auburn-Montgomery as the NAIA
second-ranked Senators downed NCAA Division II 10th-ranked Rollins
8-1 on Wednesday.
The loss drops Rollins to 8-6 on the year while AUM stays perfect
at 12-0.
The Tars lone point came in the No. 4 singles match at Girts Dzelde defeated
Loic Didavi 6-2, 6-2.
In the No. 2 doubles match, Pablo Seijo and Arturo Baravalle
battled Loic Didavi and Alberto Romero, but fell 9-7. At No. 3
singles, Baravalle dropped the first set 6-4, but took the second
6-3 before falling in the tiebreaker 10-6.
Rollins will host Colgate on Thursday, Mar. 18 at the Martin Tennis
Complex.
