WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 21, 2009)-

The Rollins College softball team escaped with a conference victory against Florida Tech, Tuesday evening by a score of 1-0.
Nicole Anderson led the Tars, as she recorded 10 strikeouts through seven strong innings. Anderson scattered three hits and walked one en route to her 23rd win of the season. With the win she records her fourth shutout in a row.

Offensively Jamie Rausch was the hero for the Tars, as she went 1-for-2 and the game winning RBI. The bottom of the sixth inning saw Rollins post the first run. Kristina Holland started things for the Tars, as she singled through the right side to get on base for the winning run. After Christine Roser grounded out to the pitcher, Holland moved to second.
