ORLANDO, Fla. (August 15, 2008) – The
Rollins men's soccer team capped off the first week of practice in
a big way, downing cross-town rival UCF 1-0 in exhibition action
Friday.
The night's lone goal came in the 75th minute as freshman Blade
Zych spun free in the midfield and connected to Leslie
Osei at the top of the box. Osei then found a streaking Zach
Walker down the right side for a glancing header past the
diving Knights keeper.
Freshman Aaron
Rokeach played the entire game between the posts for Rollins,
facing five shots and grabbing one save.
The Tars will continue their three-game preseason with a match
in Jacksonville against North Florida on Wednesday, August 20 at 7
p.m.
