PBA Upends Rollins 1-0 in Rain-soaked Contest

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 18, 2007) ' The Rollins men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Palm Beach Atlantic in the wind and rain of Lantana Field on Tuesday night in non-conference action.' The Tars dropped to 5-3 overall with the loss, and the Sailfish improved to 5-2.

Daniel Abrahamsohn scored the game's lone goal in the 59th minute off a corner kick by the Sailfish.' Enrico Zanella deflected the ball to Abrahamsohn, and he was able to loft the ball over Rollins goalkeeper Frazer Siddall for the score.

PBA goalkeeper Joseph Yurchak saved three shots in the shutout, and Siddall saved four for the Tars.

The Sailfish led the shot count with 11 compared to six for the Tars.' PBA also held a 7-5 corner kick advantage.' The game was a physical affair, including 31 total fouls and six combined yellow cards between the teams.
