Biography

2018: Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… Fall Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… Saw time in 15 games, earning 12 starts… earned 15 ground balls… totaled seven caused turnovers… picked up a season best three ground balls against Limestone on March 23, 2018… earned two ground balls against Wingate (2/25/18), Alabama-Huntsville (3/17/18), Florida Tech (4/7/18), and Saint Leo (4/14/18)… caused one turnover in seven separate contests.

2017: Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll... Redshirt

2016:
 Started in 18 games for the Tars… Earned 19 ground balls and four draw controls to help the Tars get back to the NCAA Tournament… Caused 13 turnovers in her Junior season… Recorded four ground balls and caused one turnover against Tampa on February 7, 2016… Also, recorded three ground balls and caused three turnovers against St. Thomas Aquinas on February 26, 2016.

2015: Named to 2015 Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll... Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll...  First Team All-SSC… Played and started all 18 games for the Tars en route to helping the team win the inaugural SSC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament and earn an appearance in the NCAA Tournament… earned 17 ground balls and five draw controls on the season… Amassed 20 caused turnovers, good for third overall on the team… matched a career best four ground balls against Regis on March 1, 2015… enters her junior season ranked fifth all-time in program history for caused turnovers per game (0.94)…

2014: Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll... Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll... Heaney started all 16 games as a freshman defender, finishing with 22 groundballs, fourth most on the team… recorded eight draw controls, including  three in a 18-5 loss against Limestone  (3/29)… caused 12 turnovers, tied for fourth most on the team… posted a career high four ground balls against Tamp on April 27m, 2014… enters her sophomore season ranked eighth all-time in program history in caused turnovers per game.

High School: Attended Bishop Ireton High School in Fairfax Station, Va… led team to a State Semifinal appearance as a junior and a State Championship as a senior… played primarily defense and in the midfield for the Cardinals… named second team All-Conference in her senior season.

Personal: Daughter of Theresa and Brion Heaney… has two brothers, Liam and Emon, and a sister, Clare.
